Be My Valentine

I found this digital image, I apologize for not giving credit to the artist, but I can't find where I got it from. I will do some research and give proper credit. If anyone reading this can help me, I would appreciate the information. I now have learned that when I download an image, that I can save the artists' name so that I can give credit. The coloring was done with watercolor pencils. The papers are from Paper Pizazz. I made this card to send to my mother. Thanks for looking. Have a great day.

My Very First Card Challenge Post with Our Craft Lounge #47

Well, about a week or so ago, I received a stamp set from one of the OCL facebook blogs contests. I was so excited to win For the Love of Birds set. This is my first and only set from OCL and I just love it. Then a challenge came up and I decided it was time to take the plunge. So, I have four cards I made for the challenge. If they didn't have a challenge, I was still going to post a card to thank them for the wonderful set of stamps. So here are my entries for OCL#47
I made this card for my husband for Valentine's Day. He is a no fuss kind of guy, so I kept it simple.
This is just another simple card that I made for my friend to give to her husband. They have a cabin by the river and love the outdoors.

I made this easel card and tried to keep it simple and with the kraft, red and black theme of the challenge. I think I will give this one to my daughter and future son-in-law for Valentine's day. I just love this stamp set.

This is my favorite card. I made this card to congratulate my daughter and future son-in-law on their recent engagement. Did I say that I really, really love this stamp set.
Well, those are my cards that I am submitting to OCL for the #47OCL challenge. If I missed the challenge, oh, well, I just loved making the cards to show OCL that I did use the set that I won and that I really appreciated winning.

Thanks for looking and have a wonderful day.
Joan

A New Year with a New Task - Boot Camp 2011 from Scrappily Ever After

Wow, I came across a web site and decided to join in on this Boot Camp from Scrappily Ever After. My first task is to take a picture of my scrap area as it is today. Then on Friday I am to post another picture after we have been given a task to complete this week. Okay, so here is my scrap area in the basement. Beware, it is not so nice. LOL . I am even embarrassed to put this on line. OUCH it is an ugly mess. I have a mish-mash of  furniture pieces that I tried to get my scrap booking material organized in and a work area. Okay, I need help, so lets see what Boot Camp 2011 can do for me.
