Repeat Impressions DCC45 ~ Add a Die-Cut.

Good day

I am here today with a challenge from Repeat Impression- Add a Die-Cut. I have really been trying to keep busy with challenges, as they get me to use stamps that are very lonely on my shelf. I only have 3 Repeat Impression stamps, so I thought this is a great time to use what I have. My hubby is retiring next May, so I thought I could get his card made, (a year early)!
I used #2908 image (tree with Adirondack chair) and #2809-I sentiment (retirement).  I don't have any die cuts for this image, so I fall under the category of fussy cutting. LOL. I did 2 images and popped up one on my card. Hope this inspires you a little, to dig through your stamps and play.

See my little tree popped up?

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by my little blog.

  1. Great card - and looks so peaceful - just want to sit down in the chair and enjoy. Thanks for joining us at The House that Stamps Built.

  2. What a fabulous card! (and good for you being a YEAR ahead of the game!) Great background; it makes the scene look so peaceful! Thanks for playing with the House That Stamps Built.

  3. Such a cool card! (Hope you don't misplace it in a year :) I love challenges for the same reason---gets u using all the stuff we have!

    1. Carolyn, LOL, I safely put the card in the Repeat Impressions pocket page with the original rubber. Oh, now, if I forget, I can ask you if you remember where I put it. Don't forget. LOL.

    2. Haha...Of course I will forget. I can't remember anything---getting worse each year!

  4. What a great card - I love the cut-out trees and the peaceful scene! Good for you for using your "lonely" stamps:) I hope you find it next year. A year ago today was my husband's last day of work.

  5. Joan, I don't know how in the world I missed this wonderful card! Beautifully done, my friend! So glad you entered it in the challenge at The House that Stamps Built!
