Day 2 of the 30 Day Color Challenge

This is my day 2 of my 30 day color challenge. You can find all the details here at The Daily Marker by Kathy. Kathy did a cool geometric card, so I decided to follow suit and try something new. Here is what Kathy made with markers and a roll of painters tape.

 So, I gave it a shot to see what I could create with a roll of tape, too. Here is what I did......

Kathy made it look so easy..   I went a little crooked. But, once I get a sentiment on there, and a few other embellishments, it should be a work of art. LOL...

I also did more..... using the roll of tape...

Using a few of my dies ....... a diamond, a spellbinder label die and a scalloped die.

Then I used a set of squares and rectangles from My Favorite Things.......

So, it was fun to learn something new... I guess if I am traveling or visiting someone and I don't have all my supplies, at least I can do a little geometric backgrounds for some fast cards.
